I am so glad I read The Call of the Wild by Jack London

The Call of the Wild

By Jack London

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book was brilliant. It is about a much-loved family pet that is stolen to pay off a gambling debt. He is eventually trained as a sleigh dog. He is eventually freed of his torment and is nursed back to health. But he is continuously torn between the human world and the call of the wild.

This was a wonderfully moving story. At times the narrative was harrowing, but that only made me love this beautiful dog all the more.

This is the kind of book that I would happily read again and again.

I picked up my copy of this book at Waterstones.
