⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stella is a photograph, she is a triplet, her sister has cancer and is going through chemopherapy and is in love with this band called The heartbreakers. Stella, unkowningly meets a member of the band at Starbucks! So, Stella and her brother go to a signing to get some stuff for their sister, but the queue gets cut off just before it is there turn. But when they go back to the hotel they meet one of the bandmembers, who signes the stuff and they spend the evening with the band. Stella falls in love with Oliver and she is invited to become the tours official photographer.

I loved this book so much. I really could turn the pages fast enough. It had everthing I wanted. realistic characters, a fabulous plot, a band, and romance with cute guys! I can't wait to read book 2!

I first read this book on Wattpad but when I learnt it had been published, I had to buy it. You can find it over on Waterstones.

Mockingjay

(The Hunger Games, Book 3)

By Suzanne Collins

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Oh my God! What the hell just happened? I was not expecting that. This novel broke my heart and the ending 😭 I have not cried so much at a book's ending in ages.

I can understand why this book, this series is so very popular. This was one heck of an emotional journey, but so worth the effort I put into reading it.

Katniss, Peeta - how I have grown to love these characters, and I am so going to miss them.

This series is an absolute must read.

I picked up my copy at Waterstones.

You have to read The Hunger Games series - here is my review of Catching Fire

Catching Fire

(The Hunger Games, Book 2)

By Suzanne Collins

 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

As soon as I turned the last page to Book 1, I picked up Book 2. I could not wait to get back into this dystopian world with Katniss, Peeta, Gale and Haymitch.

As before with the first book I become utterly engrossed. The sense of realism in this book is amazing, as is the horror that Katniss and her friends face. But her resolve, and her determination to stay alive, and to try and keep Peeta alive as well, made this a page-tuning read.

I adored Peeta in book one but I really came to adore him in this book. He is madly in love with Katniss, and yet Katniss is unsure of her feelings, because she also loves Gale. But there is such a goodness to Peeta, especially in the face of so much horror, that I am hoping that she will end up with him in the end. That's if he survives.

I am absolutly in love with this series, and I cannot wait to get my hands on the final book of the trilogy.

I picked up my copy at my favourite bookshop, Waterstones.

You will need a box of tissues beside you if you read The Hunger Games (Hunger Games Trilogy, Book one) by Suzanne Collins

 The Hunger Games

(Hunger Games Trilogy, Book one)

By Suzanne Collins

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Imagine you lived in a dystopian world where those in charge in the Capital keep order by making children fight to the death in something called The Hunger Games. In order to save her sister from a terrible fate, Katniss Everdeen volunteers to take her place. If Katniss is to survive then, she must think only of herself. But with such a loving heart, Katniss finds this impossible. She does not want to die, but she does not want her friends to either.

This is an incredibly moving book. Katniss is a reluctant heroine, but a heroine she becomes for she has no choice. Her relationship with Peeta, the other person from her district who has been made to fight in the games, was really sweet. I really liked Peeta, but with every turn of the page, I braced myself for what was to come next.

This is a very emotional read, so have some tissues handy. I can't wait to read book 2.

I picked my copy up at Waterstones, my bookshop of choice!
